Whole House provides a powerful series of First Responder Mental Health trainings for departments.
We deliver specialized trainings to serve a specific segment of the team or resolve on a specific area of concern.
We provide education that supports the individual in understanding themselves, as well as learning how to identify challenges and offer support to their peers.
CORE DEPARTMENT TRAININGS

Understanding the mechanics of occupational stress on the brain & body.
This foundational training will cover what trauma is and how it affects the body and brain and cause what we recognize as “symptoms.”
FRMH 201- 2-4 CE Credits
The Emotional Puppet Master:
How unaddressed occupational stressors are unconsciously controlling
how you think, feel, and act.
This training will build upon FRMH 101 and build on that knowledge to learn how those changes in our body and brain alter the way we think, feel, and act.
FRMH 301- 2 CE Credits
The Compass & The Roadmap:
How to find a therapy and therapist that works for you.
This training is the third in the FRMH Training Series. In this training, you will have a basic understanding of key trauma treatments, allowing you to make a more informed decision when you look for a therapist. We also provide key strategies in finding a therapist that will be a good fit for you.
FRMH 302- #2-4 CE Credits
Cultural Competence (Clinician-Centered):
How to design the right combination of therapies for your First Responder client
This variation training caters specifically to those mental health providers who work with first responders. You learn both an overview of key therapy modalities in treating trauma, and you will also learn the Whole House approach to therapy that has served our client population well and has made us a premier private practice in the Tri-State area and the go-to counseling service for first responders.
